Atos began working with the wealth and asset management industry by acquisition:

  • National Savings and Investments (NS&I) 1999: the NS&I contract was initially contracted with Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS) to deliver aggressive cost savings for NS&I. In December 2010, Atos acquired SIS. Since then the scope of the NS&I contract has continued to grow
  • Atos Euronext Market Solutions (AEMS): In 2000, Atos Origin acquired a 50% stake in AEMS and began delivering operational and IT services for market trading. In 2007 the stake was sold back to Euronext. 
  • Apollo Trading solutions: In April 2006 Atos acquired the Apollo trading platform from Misys. The platform now is used by most capital markets firms based in France and installed and supported by Atos    
  • Syntel (2018):  IT and BPS services vendor. Syntel has large relationships with State Street Bank and American Express
