Gary Bragar

Gary is the HR Outsourcing Research Director at NelsonHall, where he has global responsibility for HRO programs.

Widely recognized for his breadth and depth of experience in the HR field, Gary assists both buy-side and vendor organizations in assessing opportunities and supplier capability across HRO, including in Recruitment, Learning, Payroll, Benefits, Mid-market HRO, and Multi-process HRO.

Gary joined NelsonHall in April 2007 after gaining extensive HR management experience at AT&T, where he worked for 25 years. Gary's operational experience includes Recruiting, Learning, Benefits Administration, Compensation, HR Transformation, HRIT and Employee Programs for AT&T International. In his last job assignment at AT&T, Gary was a member of the AT&T governance team responsible for managing the service delivery and relationship for AT&T's major HR and Payroll services BPO contract with Aon Human Capital Services. AT&T and Aon were selected as 'HRO Relationship of the Year' in the Financial & Business Services Sector in the 2004 HRO Awards.

Gary has published numerous articles, including for HRO Today, and conducted numerous webcasts, including for HR.com, Outsourcing Institute, HROA, and many HR services companies. He has presented at conferences in the U.S. and Europe, including at HRO World, RPO Forum, HRO Today U.S., HRO Europe, Outsourcing Institute, and the CLO Symposium. Gary has been named HRO Today Superstar in the Advisors/Analysts Category for the last five years, and was also named by Glassdoor as one of the top 50 HR & Recruiting thought leaders to follow.

Gary holds a bachelor's degree from Kean University, NJ and a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, NJ. Gary splits his time between Vermont and Florida with his wife Pat. When not working Gary enjoys kayaking, skiing and travel.
