DXC Announces Q4 FY21 Revenues Down 13.5% to $4,385m

DXC Technology has announced its Q4 FY21 results, the period ending March 31, 2021:

  • Revenues were $4,385m, down 8.9% y/y, down 13.5% y/y at cc, and down 7.0% y/y at CC/CS
  • EBIT was ($804m), a margin of (18.3%), up 54.4 pts
  • Adjusted EBIT was $329m, a margin of 7.5%, down 0.2 pts y/y.

Q4 FY21 revenue breakdown by service line (and y/y revenue growth on actual, CC, and CC/CS basis) was:

  • Global Business Services (GBS): $1,999m (-13.4%, -17.6%, -4.0%)
    - Applications were down 7.2% y/y
    - Analytics and engineering was up 8.4 y/y
    - Workplace and horizontal BPO was down 10.5% y/y
  • Global Infrastructure Services (GIS): $2,386m (-4.8%, -9.8%, -9.3%)
    - ITO was down 5.7% y/y due to run-offs and terminations
    - Cloud & security was down 7.2% y/y.

Q4 FY21 bookings were $4.7bn ($4.4bn in Q3 Y20), a B2B of 1.08 (0.98).

53% of bookings were new scope and 47% renewals.

The Q4 FY21 breakdown by service line (and in Q4 FY20) is:

  • GBS: $2.4bn ($2.2n), a B2B of 1.20 (0.95)
    - Analytics and engineering: 1.46
    - Applications: 1.06
  • GIS: $2.3bn ($2.2bn), a B2B of 0.98 (0.87)
    - Cloud and security: 1.08
    - IT outsourcing: 0.98.

DXC Technology has announced its FY21 results, the period ending March 31, 2021:

  • Revenues were $17,729m, down 9.4% y/y, down 11.1% y/y at cc, and down 9.6% y/y at CC/CS
  • EBIT was ($146m), a margin of (0.8%), up 24.8 pts
  • Adjusted EBIT was $1,102m, a margin of 6.2%, down 4.3 pts y/y

FY21 revenue breakdown by service line (and y/y revenue growth on actual, CC, and CC/CS basis) was:

  • Global Business Services (GBS): $8,336m (-8.5%, -10.1%, -6.6%)
  • Global Infrastructure Services (GIS): $9,393m (-10.3%, -11.9%, -11.8%).

FY21 bookings were $19.8bn ($17.7bn in FY20), a B2B of 1.12 (0.90).

The FY21 breakdown by service line (and in FY20) is:

  • GBS: $11.0bn ($9.0bn), a B2B of 1.32 (0.99)
