Infosys has announced results for Q1 FY22, for the period ending June 30, 2020:

  • Revenues were $3,782m, up 21.2% y/y, up 16.9% in CC
  • Operating income (EBIT) was $896m, a margin of 23.7%, up 1.0 pts y/y.

Q1 FY22 estimated revenue by geography (with reported and CC  y/y growth in US$) was:

  • North America $2,333m (+21.1%, +21.1 CC) 
  • Europe $913m (+21.9%, +12.2% CC)
  • India $111m (+23.1%, +20.7% CC
  • Rest of World $425m (+16.9%, +4.9  CC).

Q1 FY22 revenue by service type (with reported and CC  y/y growth in US$) was:

  • Digital ($2,-4-m (+46.9%, +42.1% in CC). Digital accounted for 42.1% of global revenue
  • Core $1,742m, (+0.6%, -3.0% in CC)

Headcount at the end of September  2020 was 257,953, a net y/y increase of 28,720, or 12.0%.

Annualized attrition was 13.9%, down from 15.6% in the prior year period and up from 10.9% reported in Q4 FY21.
