This NelsonHall vendor assessment analyzes Atos’ offerings and capabilities in software testing.

Who is this Report for:

NelsonHall’s software testing vendor assessment for Atos is a comprehensive assessment of Atos’ software testing offerings and capabilities designed for:

  • Sourcing managers monitoring the capabilities of existing suppliers of IT services and identifying vendor suitability for software testing services
  • Vendor marketing, sales and business managers looking to benchmark themselves against their peers
  • Financial analysts and investors specializing in the software testing sector.

Scope of this Report:

The report provides a comprehensive and objective analysis of Atos’ software testing offerings, capabilities, and market and financial strength, including:

  • Analysis of the company’s offerings and key service components
  •  Revenue estimates
  •  Identification of the company’s strategy, emphasis and new developments
  • Analysis of the profile of the company’s customer base including the company’s targeting strategy and examples of current contracts
  • Analysis of the company’s strengths, weaknesses and outlook.

Key Findings & Highlights:

Atos has grouped its career tester activities into Atos Global Testing (AGT):

  • AGT is a unit within Systems Integration (along with SAP Services, Solutions, application management, Oracle Microsoft, Mobility, Information Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and engineering services)
  • Systems Integration is itself a division of the larger Consulting & Systems Integration (C&SI) Strategic Business Unit (SBU).

Before 2013, AGT was a virtual testing service line across different Atos units (Managed Services and C&SI). In 2013, AGT became a full testing service line with responsibility over P&L, solutioning, delivery, and portfolio management. As part of this change, it identified career testers across the firm, which very significantly increased the number of its career testers.
