Accenture has announced Q3 FY21 results, for the period ending May 30, 2021:
- Revenues were $13,264m, up 20.7% y/y, up 16% in CC
- Operating income (EBIT) was $2,119m, a margin of 16%, up 39 bps y/y.
Q3 FY21 revenue (with reported and constant currency growth) by service line was:
- Consulting and systems integration $7,260.4m (+21.0%) (+16% in CC)
- Outsourcing $6,003.4m (+20.2%) (+16% in CC).
Q3 FY21 revenue (with reported and CC growth) by industry sector was:
- Products $3,674m (+22.5%) (+17% in CC)
- Communications, Media & Technology $2,704m (+23.1%) (+19% in CC)
- Financial services $2,598m (+21.5%) (+16% in CC)
- Resources $1,768m (+8.1%) (+25% in CC)
- Health & Public Services (HPS) $2,519m (+25.0%) (+21% in CC)
Q3 FY21 revenue (and revenue growth) by geography was:
- North America $6,200m (+18.3%) (18% in CC)
- Europe $4,452m (+24.5%) (+14% in CC)
- Growth Markets $2,612m (+20.0%) (+15% in CC).
New bookings in the quarter were $15.37bn (Q2 FY 2021: $16.01n). Bookings by service type were:
- Consulting $8.02bn, a book-to-bill of 1.10
- Outsourcing $7.35bn., a book-to-bill of 1.22
Utilization in the quarter was 93%, up from 94% in Q2 FY21.
Attrition for the quarter was 17%, up from 12% in Q2 FY21 and up from 11% in Q3 FY20.
Accenture’s total cash balance at February 28, 2021 was $10.0bn, compared with $8.4bn at August 31, 2020.
Revenue guidance for:
- Q4 FY21 is in the range of $13.1bn to $13.5bn, a y/y growth of 17% to 21%
- FY21 is of CC growth of 10% to 11%
