HCL Technologies Announces Q4 FY21 Revenues Up 6.0% (Up 2.6% in CC) to $2,696.9m

HCL Technologies has announced results for Q4 and full FY21, for the period ending March 31, 2021.

Q4 FY21:

  • Revenues were $2,696.9m, up 6.0% y/y, up 2.6% in CC
  • Operating income (EBIT) was $549.1m, a margin of 20.5%, down 51bps y/y.

Full FY20:

  • Revenues were $10,175m, up 2.4%, up 1.1% in CC
  • EBIT was $2,173m, a margin of 21.4%, down 13 bps.

Q4 FY21 revenue share by service line (with revenues and y/y growth in US$) is:

  • IT and Business Services 71.9% ($1,937m; +7.9%) +4.7% in CC
  • Engineering and R&D services 15.1% ($408m, -1.6%) -2.7% in CC.
  • Products & Platforms 13.0% ($350m; +5.0%) +3.3% in CC

Total headcount at end March 2021 was 168,977, a net increase of 9,295 during the quarter, and a growth of 12.3% y/y. 

LTM attrition in IT services was 16.8%, down from 9.9% in Q4 FY21.
