Infosys has announced results for Q2 FY22, for the period ending September 30, 2021:

• Revenues were $3,998m, up 20.7% y/y, up 19.4% in CC
• Operating income (EBIT) was $941m, a margin of 23.5%, up 1.8 pts y/y.

Q2 FY22 estimated revenue by geography (with reported and CC  y/y growth in US$) was:

• North America $2,476m (+23.1%, +23.1 CC) 
• Europe $989m (+22.8%, +19.6% CC)
• India $104m (+4.3%, +4.2% CC
• Rest of World $429m (+18.3%, +4.7  CC).

Q2 FY22 revenue by service type (with reported and CC  y/y growth in US$) was:

• Digital $2,243m (+43.0%, +42.3% in CC). Digital accounted for 56.1% of global revenue
• Core $1,755m, (+0.7%, -1.0% in CC)

Q2 FY22 revenue mix by industry (with approx revenue and reported and CC y/y growth in US$) was:

• Financial Services 32.3% ($1,292m, +21.8%, + 20.5% CC)
• Retail 14.6% ($585m, +18.8%, +17.2% CC)
• Communication 12.4% ($495, +18.9%, +16.6% CC)

• Manufacturing 10.9% ($435m, +44.0%, +42.5% CC)

Infosys had 1,714 active clients at the end of Q2 FY22, with 117 new clients added during the quarter.

Major client contribution to revenue (and in Q1 FY22) was:

• Top 10 clients 19.4% (18.8%).

Headcount at the end of September  2021 was 279,617, a net y/y increase of 39,409, or 16.4%.

Annualized attrition was 20.1%,  up from 12.8% in the prior year period and up from 13.9% reported in Q1 FY22.
