  • 2012: Sopra Steria creates Sopra Steria Banking Software from the acquisitions of Callataÿ & Wouters and Delta Informatique 
  • 2016 to 2019: Sopra Steria acquires lending solution vendors, including Cassiopae, Sword Apak, and SAB; to expand its lending capabilities
  • 2020: Sopra Steria acquires Fidor Solutions, a digital banking software specialist, to accelerate its digital banking services initiatives. It acquires Sodifrance, a specialist in legacy platform modernization. It acquires Cxpartners, a U.K.-based customer consultancy firm that designs and develops web and mobile experiences for its users.  
  • 2021: Sopra Steria acquires Labs, a Norway-based consultancy specializing in digital user experience. It acquired Luminosity, a digital auditing and risk management software vendor. It acquired Labs, a consultancy specializing in digital user experience based in Bergen, Norway. It intends to buy EVA Group is a French cybersecurity firm.

Sopra Steria began working with bank startups in 2002 when it supported a Netherlands headquartered bank in setting up digital banks in multiple countries. It formally set up its digital services in 2015 as part of the Sopra Steria banking software unit.
