Accenture has announced Q4 FY21 results, for the period ending August 31, 2021:
- Revenues were $13,419m, up 23.8% y/y, up 21% in CC
- Operating income (EBIT) was $1,959m, a margin of 14.6%, up 34 bps y/y.
Q4 FY21 revenue (with reported and constant currency growth) by service line was:
- Consulting and systems integration $7,305m (+28.6%) (+25% in CC)
- Outsourcing $6,114m (+18.6%) (+16% in CC).
Q4 FY21 revenue (with reported and constant currency growth) by industry sector was:
- Products $3,733m (+28.8%) (+25% in CC)
- Communications, Media & Technology $2,767m (+25.7%) (+23% in CC)
- Financial services $2,611m (+24.1%) (+20% in CC)
- Resources $1,802m (+17.0%) (+12% in CC)
- Health & Public Services (HPS) $2,504m (+19.8%) (+18% in CC)
Q4 FY21 revenues (and revenue growth) by geography was:
- North America $6,389m (+22.9%) (+22% in CC)
- Europe $4,300m (+26.1%) (+18% in CC)
- Growth Markets $2,731m (+22.5%) (+21% in CC).
New bookings in the quarter were $15.09bn (Q4 FY20: $13.98bn). Bookings by service type were:
- Consulting $7.97bn, a book-to-bill of 1.09
- Outsourcing $7.05bn, a book-to-bill of 1.15
Utilization in the quarter was 92%, down from 93% in Q3 FY21.
Attrition for the quarter was 19%, up from 17% in Q3 FY21 and up from 7% in Q4 FY19.
Accenture’s total cash balance at August 31, 2021 was $8.2bn, compared with $8.4bn at August 31, 2020.

- Revenues were $50,533m, up 14.0% (up 11% in CC)
- EBIT was $7,621m, a margin of 15.1%, up 39 bps from FY20.
Revenue guidance for
- Q1 FY22 is $13.90-14.35bn, CC growth of 18% to 22%
- FY21 is CC growth of 12% to 22%.
