Aegis has been awarded a multi-process, multi-lingual customer management contract by Hutch telecom, Sri Lanka. The carve-out transaction includes transfer of operations to Aegis Colombo, Sri Lanka center and re-badging of ~65 Aegis employees.
Aegis has been managing documents, automation and digitalization of services for new subscribers for over two years.
Aegis has ~400 FTEs in Sri Lanka. The company first entered the market in 2009 with the acquisition of Ismart - Timex Pvt Ltd. The Sri Lanka operations support the domestic market.
