Cognizant has announced results for Q4 and full year 2021

Q4 2021:

• Revenues were $4,777m, up 14.2% y/y, up 14.5% in CC.
• EBIT was $732m, a margin of 15.3%, up  420 bps y/y
• Adjusted income from operations was $732m, a margin of 15.3%, up 299 bps y/y

Calendar year 2021:

• Revenues were $18,507m, up 11.1%, up 10.0% in CC
• EBIT was $2,826m, a margin of 15.3%,  up 260 bps
• Adjusted income from operations was $2,846m, a margin of 14.4%, down 100 bps

• Financial services: $1,547m (+18.5%, +18.8% in CC)
• Healthcare: $1,370m (+7.9%, +8.2% in CC)
• Products and Resources: $1,116m (+17.8%, +18.0% in CC)
• Comms, Media and Technology: $744m (+12.6%, +13.1% in CC).

Year-end headcount was 330.6k, an increase during the quarter of ~12.2k.

Revenue guidance for:

• Full year 2022 is in the range of $20.0bn - $20.5bn, a growth of 7.8-10.8%, 8.5-11.5% in CC growth.
