Key Findings & Highlights:

In 2012, Infosys IVS had two interesting developments. It launched an IT infrastructure consulting service in conjunction with Infosys' IT Infrastructure Management Services unit. The offering has positioned Infosys as one of the early vendors with such an offering.

Also the company was awarded a 3-year $100m contract with a U.S. bank. Services provided by Infosys include traditional software testing services, test environment provisioning and management, as well as IT infrastructure testing. NelsonHall estimates that the contract is one of Infosys' largest standalone testing contracts.

IVS is developing its services portfolio and IPs in priority, focusing on specialized testing offerings. Highest priority offerings include:

  • QA consulting (5% of IVS revenues
