Cielo is Pinstripe & Ochre House's new brand, launched last week at its Talent Rising client forum and analyst day. The rebrand has been expected since the merger six months ago of Pinstripe and Ochre House. From its key offerings of RPO, search and talent consulting services, the event focused on how to engage the wider business in the talent discussion as well as how services are being developed and expanded across the U.K., U.S. and the wider Cielo business to bring richer and wider RPO services to clients.
Investments made in the last 6 months and the roll out of offerings across regions include:
- The establishment of a new center, Longford, U.K. with capacity for 300-500 people language capability and a vertical recruitment team to support sourcing job families in Finance, IT, marketing, supply chain and human resources
- A new talent intelligence portal launched with a repository of resumes, launched May 1, 2013 for all U.S. clients and launching June 2014 in the UK. The talent supply data looks across all roles and skills to enable consultative conversations with hiring managers
- Talent Relationship Management (TRM), a legacy Pinstripe tool, is being rolled out to U.S. clients. It offers overnight sourcing, mobile enabled candidate marketing, email campaigns, self-service interview scheduling, talent intelligence, talent pipes/big data sourcing, integrated video interviewing, text campaigning, online reference checking
- The Search offering for sourcing “experts” will be launched in the U.S. It has already been operating in the U.K for a number of years and will help widen the net for specific skill sets.
As well as launching Cielo, the company's new executive search brand is Moorland Gray (replacing Carmichael Fisher). The name brings together the two companies, based on HQ addresses of Pinstripe (Moorland Drive, Milwaukee) and Ochre House (Grays Inn Road, London). Moorland Gray is servicing primarily the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) markets; it has aspirations to take its services to new regions. Servicing the META region inherently requires expertise in sourcing leadership at a global level, as talent is commonly imported. As such, this expertise can be readily translated to service broader geographies. With the support of its investors Accel-KKR private equity, first indications are that the planned growth path could be followed by an IPO.
What was clear from all the clients to whom I spoke at the event is an appreciation of the high level of energy and customer focus of Cielo's recruitment teams. They align closely with the company they serve, helped by the fact they are dedicated teams.
