arvato has acquired five of the eight Walter Services GmbH sites in Germany.

The five inbound & outbound customer call centers are located in the following cities:

• Cottbus
• Dresden
• Halle
• Magdeburg
• Suhl

Walter Services GmbH, founded in 1978, is a German based BPO provider specializing in customer management services with 16 centers in 5 European countries. 

1,100 FTEs will move to arvato with the acquisition which will provide additional capacity to existing clients, particularly Deutsche Telekom.
