Molina Healthcare of Michigan is to acquire the Medicaid assets and certain MIChild businesses of HAP Midwest. As part of the acquisition, Molina Healthcare of Michigan will receive the right to assume HAP Midwest's Medicaid membership in regions 9 and 10 of the state of Michigan.
The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2016.
HAP Midwest currently serves ~85k Medicaid members in these two regions.
