Molina Healthcare of Illnois is to acquire the Medicaid assets of Better Health Network in Cook County. As part of the acquisition, Molina Healthcare of Illnois will receive the right to assume Better Health's Medicaid membership in Cook County, and assume certain assets related to the operation of the Medicaid business.
The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2016.
Better Health Network currently serves ~40k Medicaid members.
