While we all know that COVID-19 is having an immense impact on digital business operations worldwide, it is not yet clear to what extent and how, at any level of detail.
To assist buy-side and suppliers in quickly assessing the business and operational impact of COVID-19, NelsonHall has developed its COVID-19 Impact Assessments program. This program is available as a complimentary service to all NelsonHall subscription clients and provides an ongoing stream of research to assist organizations in identifying and quantifying the impact of COVID-19 from both buy-side and vendor perspectives.
On the buy-side, NelsonHall currently has an extensive program of phone interviews underway with enterprises globally to identify the current and expected impact of COVID-19 on their revenues, operations costs & budgets, and their anticipated changes in BPS and operations transformation activity. We will be releasing this research in phases, starting this week.
At the same time, we are developing industry perspectives from the supplier perspective, starting with the impact of COVID-19 on the BPS and operations transformation industry.
This research currently involves all NelsonHall analysts and, of course, we are evaluating not just the business operations impact but also the impact of COVID-19 on the IT spend and digital transformation activity of buyers and vendors from the CIO and IT services perspective.
The first three reports published between March 19 and 21 are now available:
- COVID-19: Initial Impact Analysis, looking at the initial impact across 13 industry sectors
- Impact of COVID-19 on Major Enterprises, presenting the results from the first batch of interviews with 148 CFOs in major enterprises
- Impact of COVID-19 on Payroll Services, presenting the results of interviews with leading HR/payroll services firms across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
