TCS has been awarded a contract by the U.K.’s Cumberland Building Society for TCS BaNCS for Core Banking, along with TCS Digital Home Lending Solution and Quartz for Compliance.

The core banking ecosystem to be provided by TCS will also include the TCS BaNCS Marketplace, which offers a catalog of solutions and APIs from solution and technology partners and developers. 

The new system will leverage open banking and data standards for fraud mitigation, customer communication management, and credit decisioning.

TCS has expanded its presence in the U.K. building societies sector in recent years and now supports five of the top 10 building societies in the UK. Overall, 20 British financial institutions now leverage TCS BaNCS.
