Key Findings & Highlights:
WNS has progressively expanded its procurement capabilities to offer end-to-end solutions. Initially providing downstream procurement services within its F&A BPS portfolio, WNS enhanced its procurement offerings in 2017 by adding sourcing, category management, and sourcing support via its acquisition of Denali Sourcing Services. The expansion continued with the 2022 acquisitions of The Smart Cube and OptiBuy, strengthening WNS' expertise in research, analytics, consulting, and implementation. In 2024, following the successful integration of these capabilities, WNS rebranded its procurement services as WNS Procurement, reinforcing its focus as a comprehensive procurement solutions provider.
Emphases in its approach include working with clients at their current overall level of maturity in procurement, assisting them in developing that maturity in their transformation journey, and generally elevating the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole procurement function.
WNS Procurement offers advisory services, managed services, intelligence and analytics, and digital enablement, i.e., helping clients with digital strategy and technology enablers along with platform services. WNS is focused on addressing business challenges aligned with CFO and CPO priorities, positioning the procurement organization as a value creator, and focusing on key guiding principles for procurement enablement and transformation.
Some key procurement outcomes where WNS is further positioning its offerings in new engagements include savings and reduced operational costs, improved user experience, digitalization and automation, and integrating sustainability/ESG in client deliverables.
