Report Overview:

Report Outline:

Accenture and Telstra have launched an AI Silicon Valley hub in Mountain View, an innovation facility for Telstra as part of the 7-year JV between Accenture and Telstra to accelerate Telstra’s data and AI roadmap. The JV was announced in January and commenced operations in April.

The hub will connect with teams in Sydney, Melbourne and Bangalore as part of Accenture Connected Innovation Centers

The AI Silicon Valley hub will accelerate Telstra’s foundational AI architecture that will power AI use cases. It will also drive advanced engineering and applied R&D to fast-track Telstra’s data and AI roadmap.

The initial priorities include to:

  • Deploy AI Refinery for Telstra, building agentic solutions. This includes transforming Telstra’s order-to-activate process into an intelligent, adaptive system
  • Advance Telstra’s responsible AI capabilities, including real-time model monitoring
  • Co-innovate across the partner ecosystem, with dedicated space for engineering teams from partners including AWS, Databricks and Microsoft, and the opportunity to test niche start-up solutions
  • Learn from academia, including the Berkeley Sky Labs and Stanford HAI, to bring research and ideation on data, AI and network innovation. For example, the Accenture Berkeley Foundation Model Architect program.
