Atos has launched a suite of sustainable desktop services: Atos Tech 4 Good Assistant and Device lifecycle management.

Atos Tech 4 Good Assistant is a dashboard for end-user to measure their environmental impact and provides recommendations such as removing unused applications, turning off the PC, or changing settings. It is available on Microsoft Teams.

It also aggregates data at the enterprise level for CIOs and CSR leaders.

Atos Tech 4 Good Assistant can monitor up to 100 device models and applications and has ten dashboards to track device redeployment and electricity consumption. It is part of AAtos'Digital Business Platform unit.

Device lifecycle management targets enterprises that replace employee laptops every three to four years with each laptop accounting for 300 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent. Atos is working with partners to offer replacement alternatives, including performance-based refresh, and extended laptop usage.

Atos had launched in 2021 a desktop refurbishing offering, with Circular Computing in 2021.

The company highlights that workplaces and devices represent 57% of enterprise IT’s caIT's footprint.
