Sopra Steria has announced its Q1 2025 revenues for the period ending March 31, 2025 were €1,415m, down 4.7% y/y, down 4.9% organic.

Q1 2025 revenue breakdown (and y/y organic growth) by business unit was:

  • France: €602m (-4.9%)
    - Most sectors were down, including aeronautics.
  • U.K.: €219m, (-10.8%)
    - Public sector growth turned negative as there was a high growth in Q1 2024 from the SSCL platform, making it harder to grow further. A major contract ended in Q3 2024, reducing revenue. A new contract (NS&I) expected in Q4 2024 was delayed to April 2025, creating a gap.
  • Other Europe: €512m (-3.3%)
    - Germany and Benelux contracted
    - Spain, and Italy were up by 5% to 8%
  • Other Solutions: €81m (+2.5%)
    - HR (70% of revenues) was up 3.0%
    - Real estate was up 5.3%.

Headcount at the end of Q1 2025 was 50,106, down 1,163. Attrition was 16.4% (Q1 2024: 15.4%).

Sopra Steria has reiterated its 2025 guidance of:

  • Organic revenue growth in the -2.5% - 0.5% range
  • An adjusted operating margin of 9.3-9.8%
  • FCF in the 5%-7% range.
