- Citibank: in early 2008 TCS acquired Citigroup Global Services Limited (CGSL), the India based captive BPS arm of Citi, to broaden its portfolio of IT and BPS services in the BFS sector (which included operations for wealth and asset management business processes). Citi’s W&A capabilities included transfer agency, fund accounting, fund administration, and reconciliation services
- Fortune 100 Global investment bank: TCS acquired this firm’s servicing platform in 2009. In 2012, a delivery center was opened in Guadalajara, as part of its W&A BPS services delivery.
Recent activities include:
- Pension services for Transamerica and Prudential: in 2018 TCS acquired the processing and platform services for a closed book of insurance from these firms. As part of the transaction, TCS took over services for their pensions business
- BridgePoint Group: in November 2018 TCS acquired BridgePoint, a U.S. based management consulting firm with expertise in asset management and retirement services. BridgePoint provided services supporting revenue growth, business agility, customer experience, and technical transformation
