In January 2022, Safeguard Global acquired Global Upside Corporation, a comprehensive incorporation with services including PEO/EOR, accounting, HR, payroll, compliance, entity setup, and M&A services. The Global Upside EOR services include the running of payroll for EOR employees. The country footprint across both organizations is well aligned. This acquisition added ~500 employees to the 1,100 Safeguard Global employees to create a combined organization of ~1,600 employees. Global Upside is in the process of being rebranded as Safeguard Global, with completion expected at the end of Q3, 2022.
