Capgemini’s is one of a number of BPS vendors analyzed in this comprehensive industry analysis.

In July 2015, Capgemini and iGATE entered into a final merger agreement in which Capgemini acquired iGATE, a U.S.-listed technology and BPS/ITO services company headquartered in New Jersey, U.S. for $4.04bn. As of January 2016, the iGate brand seized to exist. This acquisition was in line with Capgemini’s strategy for North America, in which it gave immediate priority to inorganic growth. The acquisition also gave Capgemini significant offshore capabilities in India; as well as increased ability to compete with tier one IT/BPS vendors in major markets (including insurance).
