Futurestep, headquartered in Los Angeles, was formed in 1998 as Korn Ferry International’s outsourced recruiting subsidiary to support  professional recruitment. Futurestep enabled Korn Ferry to position itself as a provider of talent from professional to board level. Its parent, Korn Ferry, is a global recruitment services firm with ~100 offices in 50 countries, and ~7k employees.  

Korn Ferry acquired two companies in 2015 to strengthen its talent management capabilities: 

  • Pivot Leadership: a U.S. based leadership development organization
  • Hay Group: a global provider of people strategy and organizational performance

In 2015, Korn Ferry Futurestep had 100 offices in 50 countries across five continents, and provided 25 languages. It performed 30.5k hires, of which 25.8k (85%) were permanent and 4.5k (15%) were temporary. One of Futurestep’s key assets is a pool of pre-screened candidates focused on mid-level professionals. All Futurestep consultants can access this database, so RPO clients can leverage from this asset, in addition to the client bespoke sourcing strategies implemented for each client.  

Futurestep offers the following range of RPO services:

  • Analytics: all new RPO clients are provided with Futurestep’s analytics tool, Foresight.
