KPIT has announced results for Q4 and full FY 2014, for the period ending March 31, 2014.

Q4 FY 2014:

  • Revenues were Rs.7,001.3m (~$113.6m), up 22.9% year-over-year (y/y).
  • Operating income was Rs.789.2m, an operating margin of 11.3% down 279 bps y/y.

Full FY 2014:

  • Revenues were Rs. 26,940.4m (~$444m), up 20.3% year-over-year (y/y).
  • Operating income was Rs.3,565.6m, an operating margin of 13.2% down 17 bps y/y.

Q4 FY 2014 revenue share (with estimated revenues and y/y revenue growth) by geography were:

  • U.S. 69.8% (~Rs. 4,886m, +12.3%)
  • Europe 14.5% (~Rs. 1,012m, +56.7%)
  • Rest of World 15.8% (~Rs. 1,103m, +57.2%).

Q4 FY 2014 revenue share (with estimated revenues and y/y revenue growth) by industry sector were:

  • Automotive, transportation 33.1% (~Rs. 2,320m, +5.8%)
  • Manufacturing 39.2% (~Rs. 2,745m, +36.2%)
  • Energy & utilities 17.9% (~Rs. 1,260m, +63.9%)
  • Others 9.8% (~Rs. 676m, +6.6%).

Q4 FY 2014 revenue share (with estimated revenues and y/y revenue growth) by SBU were:

  • Integrated enterprise solutions 40.3% (~Rs. 2,821m, +1.1%)
  • Auto & engineering 25.8% (~Rs. 1,806m, +26.6%)
  • SAP 23.9% (~Rs. 1,670m, +12.6%)
  • Business Transformation Unit 10.1% (~Rs. 705m, +7.4%).

KPIT added three new clients in fiscal Q4 taking the total number of active clients to 198. 80 clients currently generate annual revenues of >$1m.

FY 2014 revenue share (with estimated revenues and y/y revenue growth) by geography were:

  • U.S. 72.2% (~Rs. 19,459m, +14.5%)
  • Europe 14.2% (~Rs. 3,826m, +31.9%)
  • Rest of World 13.6% (~Rs. 3,656m, +46.7%).

FY 2014 revenue share (with estimated revenues and y/y revenue growth) by industry sector were:

  • Automotive, transportation 35.3% (~Rs. 9,499m, +7.9%)
  • Manufacturing 15.2% (~Rs. 4,103m, -45.6%)
  • Energy & utilities 39.6% (~Rs. 10,674m, +236%)
  • Others 10% (~Rs. 2,664m, -7.3%).

FY 2014 revenue share (with estimated revenues and y/y revenue growth) by SBU were:

  • Integrated enterprise solutions 39.9% (~Rs. 10,760m, +2.2%)
  • Auto & engineering 24.8% (~Rs. 6,668m, +23.4%)
  • SAP 24.7% (~Rs. 6,652m, +3.1%)
  • Business Transformation Unit 10.6% (~Rs. 2,861m, +7.4%).
