Sopra HR is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria Group, a European leader in digital transformation established in 2014 following the merger of Sopra Group SA and Groupe Steria SCA.  Sopra HR offers HR and payroll services through its own proprietary assets, HR Access and Pleiades. The company is headquartered in France and is primarily present in France, though it is increasingly in Europe, most notably Spain and the U.K. It also delivers HR and payroll services to the Middle East and Africa. 

Sopra HR has ~850 HR software and outsourcing clients in 54 countries, serving 12 million employees.  In addition to this, the Sopra Steria UK HR activity that covers the processing of 7m payslips per annum (~50k of which are related to full BPS payroll contracts).  

Sopra HR offers five different service offerings across software, implementation, and outsourcing, through its proprietary technology solutions Pléiades and HR Access.  These include: 

  • On-premise software solutions
  • Application management services
  • Cloud processing: which includes expertise and training, legal maintenance, hosting and system exploitation
  • Payroll processing
  • BPS: which includes all services within payroll processing as well as data input, output validation, and employee relationship management

Sopra HR’s BPS offering is almost exclusively provided to Sopra HR’s clients in Spain but is slowly gaining pace in other European countries including France and Italy. Payroll is focused on and generates revenue across: 

  • France
  • MEA
  • Iberia
  • Benelux
  • Other European countries.
