Arvato AG has announced revenues for full year 2013 of €16,356m, up 1.9% on 2012, but an organic decline of 2.8%.

Headcount increased by 7,477 during the year to 111,763 at year end.

Revenue share by division was:

  • Arvato Services 27.3% (2012: 27.8%), ~€4,465m
  • Be Printers 7.0% (2012: 7.3%), ~€1,145m
  • RTL Group 36.5% (2012: 37.6%), ~€5,970m
  • Penguin Random House 16.4% (2012: 13.4%), ~€2,682m
  • Gruner + Jahr 12.8% (2012: 13.9%) ~€2,233m

In 2013 Arvato Services:

  • Expanded its financial services to clients in 21 countries
  • Acquired International Gothia Financial Group, which was combined with the existing arvato infoscore subsidiary, to offer payment handling services for the entire invoice process chain in Europe
  • Reorganized into seven solution groups
  • Partnered with the British Department for Transport to provide back-office services
