Platinum Equity To Acquire Expert Global Solutions' Accounts Receivable Management Business

Platinum Equity is to acquire parts of Expert Global Solutions (EGS)' Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) business. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The following business units within EGS' ARM business are to be sold and operate as Transworld Systems, Inc. (TSI) going forward.

  • Transworld systems
  • Education
  • Attorney network
  • Healthcare bad debt
  • Government 
  • U.S. based third party collections

EGS will focus on its remaining business segments, particularly CRM and first party collections, after the acquisition is finalized later this year. 

Platinum Equity, founded in 1995, is a Los Angeles-based private equity firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions across varying industries with 150 acquisitions since inception that generate ~$15bn in revenue annually.
