Analyst comments:
Capgemini is back to organic across all geographies but France. The company suffered in France from its exposure to consulting and the manufacturing sector, further strengthened by the acquisition of Altran. However, Altran, now Capgemini Engineering, should return to organic growth in Q2 2021, thanks to a favorable comparison basis and an improvement in all sectors, including commercial aviation.
Capgemini believes it has now fixed the U.S., with a new leader, and momentum in contract wins. North America is back to growth and accelerating. To further strengthen its U.S. operations, Capgemini will continue to make tuck-in acquisitions in digital and cloud in the region.
