HCL Technologies Announces Q4 FY22 Revenues Up 11.0% (Up 13.3% in CC) to $2,993m

HCL Technologies has announced results for Q4 and full FY22, for the period ending March 31, 2022.

Q4 FY21:

  • Revenues were $2,993.1m, up 11.0% y/y, up 13.3% in CC
  • Operating income (EBIT) was $536.9m, a margin of 17.9%, down 243bps y/y.

Full FY20:

  • Revenues were $11,481m, up 12.8%, up 12.7% in CC
  • EBIT was $2,170m, a margin of 18.9%, down 246 bps.

Q4 FY22 revenue share by service line (with revenues and y/y growth in US$) is:

  • IT and Business Services 73.5% ($2,199m; +13.5%) +16.2% in CC
  • Engineering and R&D services 16.4% ($490m, +20.1%) +23.7% in CC.
  • Products & Platforms 10.2% ($304m; -13.1%) -13.9% in CC

HCL signed 10 transformational deals in Q4 led by the g technology and services, life sciences and healthcare and public services verticals.

HCL signed  52 transformational deals in 2020 led by life sciences and healthcare, technology, financial services, manufacturing and oil & gas.

Total headcount at end March 2022 was 208,877, a net increase of 39,900 during the quarter, and a growth of 23.6% y/y. 

LTM attrition in IT services was 21.9%, up from 12.3% in Q4 FY21.
