Beta Systems Software AG has announced results for fiscal Q1 2014, the period ending December 31, 2013:
- Revenues were €8.7m, down 22% year on year (y/y)
- EBIT was €0.8m, an EBIT margin of -9.2%, down 57.9bps y/y
- Cash & cash equivalents of €22.2m, up 1.4% y/y
Fiscal Q1 2014 revenues and reported growth y/y by service line were:
- License revenues ~ €2.4m (-55.6%)
- Maintenance revenues ~€4.8m (+2.1%)
- Service revenues ~€1.5m. (+36%)
The decline in revenues is attributed by management to the reduction of license sales and the development & delivery of the new product line, Generation which will be the sales focus for the licensing business in the second half of the fiscal year after it is released April of 2014.
