Key Findings & Highlights:

Key Findings & Highlights

UiPath’s overall vision for its product portfolio is to give clients an integrated experience to discover, investigate, build automation, and communicate improvements. It supports both business data (process mining) and user interaction data (task mining).

To collect user interaction data, UiPath Task Mining has a desktop observer tool that can passively record user interactions on the desktop, meaning the desktop user does not have to start or stop recordings manually. Task Mining is now only offered as a cloud solution, but the company is developing an on-premise solution, which is expected to be available in version 21.10.

UiPath Process Mining supports IT system data (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) through pre-built connectors and files. The connectors can directly connect to source systems using SQL queries or scripts.

UiPath Process Mining does not offer a way to tie its discovered desktop processes (task mining) and business processes from transaction logs (process mining) together for end-to-end analysis. And it has different screens for analyzing the two levels of processes.

UiPath offers process mining on a per-user pricing model. On the other hand, task mining is offered on a completely fixed pricing model.

Compared to its RPA business, the company has a smaller network of partners focused on delivering UiPath Process Mining and Task Mining products.

Europe continues to be UiPath’s top geography; however, the Americas (the U.S. in particular) is seeing the fastest growth of all regions.

BFSI continues to be UiPath's top industry vertical for UiPath Process Mining.
