SD Worx, headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium, is a global provider of 'people solutions'. The firm was formed in 1945 by the Flemish Employers Association as a non-profit company providing services for social administration to enable companies to focus on their core business operations. It began offering HR consultancy and training services in 1990 and has since steadily expanded its HR and payroll services and technology offering through various strategic acquisitions.

In 2010, SD Worx formed a global payroll services network in partnership with Aditro to enable and provide global payroll and HR services to clients across 150 countries worldwide through a single harmonized service level and governance model. 

SD Worx conducts business  through two primary segments:

  • People Solutions: payroll, expenses, compensation and benefits, recruitment and workforce management, HR technology, and automation
  • Staffing and Career Solutions: staffing, recruiting, and consulting.

Today SD Worx supports >70k clients globally through its presence in eleven countries, producing >4m pay-slips annually.  

SD Worx targets organizations of all sizes for its payroll services, primarily focusing on organizations headquartered in European countries with single and multi-country employee footprints.  Its client base of >70k consists primarily of firms with <500 employees but does support clients with footprints above 15k. Currently, its largest client has 65k employees across eight countries of operation. On average its multi-country clients have four countries in scope, however, it has clients with as many as 42 countries in scope.
