Key Findings & Highlights:

Mehrwerk Process Mining (MPM) is an API-first open product implemented on Qlik technologies. The company offers a generic template application that can be used for any process mining use case and delivers very comprehensive analytical capabilites. In addition, packaged business content apps – MPM Process eXpert Apps – aimed at business users for specific process-system combinations, e.g., P2P Procurement on SAP. Content apps include a data extraction logic that is source system-specific and an event log generator and frontend that is specific to the business process being investigated.

MPM frontends are built with a responsive UI design and are usable on both desktop and mobile devices. On top of that, Mehrwerk offers native mobile apps for analyzing and monitoring processes on the go as well.

Being built on Qlik technologies, MPM leverages its connectors while supplementing with ones developed in-house, e.g., a certified SAP connector.

Mehrwerk also has partners with NICE to offer an integrated process mining and desktop process discovery (task mining) solution.

MPM uses the Process Analyzer to show the difference between the as-is process model and the reference model for conformance checking. It lacks conformance checking against business rules.

MPM includes a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) screen for investigating predefined process anomalies.

MPM's prebuilt screens include manual what-if analysis along specific dimensions; however, users can customize screens to simulate along dimensions of their choosing.

MPM's deep integration with Qlik enables it to seamlessly leverage the Qlik Sense Automation PaaS (a service that leverages Qlik's acquisition of blendr.io) to provide API-based data integration.

Its pricing model is based on named user subscription licenses.

Mehrwerk's clients primarily come from Europe, particularly Germany.
