John Laherty
John Laherty is a Senior Analyst and a member of NelsonHall's IT Services team.
John is responsible for the global digital workplace and cloud & cognitive infrastructure services market, providing detailed research and client support. He has been part of NelsonHall's analyst team since 2016, providing comprehensive global coverage of digital workplace services, and he is considered one of the leading analysts in the field. He also covers cloud infrastructure services and cognitive IT services on a global scale. He assists buy-side organizations in understanding vendor capability and making critical sourcing decisions; and IT services vendor organizations in assessing opportunities and improving go-to-market strategies.
Prior to joining NelsonHall, John worked for 25 years in the global IT services/BPS market with companies including Vertex and HPE.
John holds an HNC in Marketing from the University of Bolton. Currently residing in Bury, England, with his family, John enjoys watching Manchester United Football Club and going on long walks in the country with his pet labradors.
